Привет!

Dear Subscribers and Friends!

We are very pleased to announce that our culture-clash comedy CAVIAR directed by Elena Tikhonova and written by Robert Buchschwenter and the director, will have it’s premiere at the 40th edition of the Max Ophüls Film Festival.

“Due to its excellent tempo, the wonderful performance of the ensemble cast, the marvelous cinematic and narrative ideas as well as the spot on humor, we enjoyed this film a lot. We are sure that CAVIAR will be liked both by the audience in Saarbrücken and by the industry. We would be delighted if you accepted our invitation.”

Who could decline such a cordial invitation? Большое спасибо за добрые слова!

The Max Ophüls Film Festival is one of the most important festivals for young film in the German-speaking world. For nearly 40 years it has played a crucial role in discovering new talents from Austria, Germany and Switzerland. It’s 40th Edition will take place in Saarbrücken from 14th-20th January 2019.

KAVIAR centers around Nadja, who works for the megalomaniacal oligarch Igor. As his interpreter she knows more about his private live and illegal operations, than both would like. His newest plan is straight up insane: He wants to build a luxurious mansion on the Schweden-bridge in Vienna’s posh first district. But Nadja, her best friend Vera and Teresa, her children’s babysitter, have different plans for Igor’s money. With Margarita Breitkreiz, Daria Nosik, Sabrina Reiter, Georg Friedrich und Simon Schwarz.

We would like to thank everyone who made this movie possible! We hope you’ll enjoy CAVIAR at one of the six screenings at the festival and/or later in cinema.

See you in Saarbrücken!

Until then we wish you all a stress-free Christmas and a cheerful start into the New Year! Мы желаем радостногo и мирного Рождества и счастливого Нового Года!

Огромный привет, your Witcraft-Team
